Fes To Merzouga 3 Days

This 3 days trip from Fes to Merzouga starts from your lodging in Fes around 8:00 am. We leave towards Midelt through the Mountains drive and the cedar forests of the middle Atlas. We pass by Ifrane and Azrou; a city known for cedar wood manufacturing.

Lunch will be taken in Midelt. In the afternoon, we will drive to Erfoud, going through the desert area via Tizi-n-Talghamt pass and Errachidia.  Once we arrive at Merzouga, you will have time at your leisure. Overnight will be in the hotel at Merzouga.

In the morning, and after having your breakfast at the hotel, we will meet the 4×4 driver so we can have an excursion in the dunes, then have a cup of tea with Nomads in the desert, and see how they arrange to live in the desert. Later, we will go to Khamilia to enjoy Gnaoua’s performance. arrival in the small village of Merzouga at the foot of the white sand dunes, In the afternoon, we will have camel rides to the camp in the desert, the camp – accommodation has comfortable beds, individual showers, and toilets. At night, we will have a Moroccan dinner, enjoy playing drums around the fire, and listen to songs by Berbers in the desert. In addition, enjoy the stars in the clear sky.

On the 3rd day, after enjoying sunrise time, we will ride camels to return to the hotel. After breakfast, we will drive through Rissani towards Fes via  Errachidia along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, and through the Tizi-Ntalghamt passing by Midelt. Arrival will be at Zaida where you will enjoy a barbecue lunch and hot mint tea to be able to continue the journey to Azrou; this Berber Nomads’ village located in the Middle of the Atlas Mountains. you will have the chance to see the Barbarian apes in the famous Cedar forest. On the road to Ifrane “the French village”, there will be the last stop to take some pictures or have a drink then drive you back to your hotel in Fez where the trip takes an end.
